Online- Consultingsession – "All about Munich" Summer Semester 2025
Join us for a special online course designed to help international students settle into life in Munich. This event is tailored to provide essential information on various practical aspects of living in Munich, but please note that academic-related questions will not be covered.
The course will start by introducing you to Munich—its culture, what it’s known for, and key facts you should know. We’ll then cover practical tips for navigating the city, including how to use the MVV system and take advantage of discounted travel options across Munich, Bavaria, and Germany.
We’ll also guide you on finding food and groceries, including affordable options like the university canteen, and give you insights into the cost of living in Munich with tips on budgeting. In addition, you’ll learn how to build your social network and make friends in a new city.
Learning German is essential for living in Munich, so we’ll teach you some useful phrases for everyday situations. The course will also provide practical advice on finding accommodation, registering with the city, and setting up a German bank account. Finally, we’ll highlight leisure activities in Munich, from exploring the city and nightlife.
This course is a great opportunity to get familiar with your new home before your studies begin. Don't miss out!
